Hydration and Moisture Retention with HYA3 Serum
The HYA3 formula contains four different types of Hyaluronic Acids – low, medium, large, and cross-linked – with a total concentration of 3%. Hyaluronic Acid of different molecular sizes can penetrate into different layers of skin, hydrating the skin and locking in moisture.
1. Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer is a cross-linked form of hyaluronic acid that creates a protective film that prevents transepidermal water loss and environmental damage, and preserves natural hyaluronic acid in the skin.
2. Large Molecule Hyaluronic Acid forms a film of moisture on the skin's surface, maintaining long-lasting hydration..
3. Medium Molecule Sodium Hyaluronate adheres to the outermost layer of skin, increasing moisture retention and promoting the repair of damaged skin.
Enhanced Absorption with Hydrolysis
Most Hyaluronic Acid serums on the market have a molecular size of 20-30 kDA, which prevents it from penetrating the epidermis. Therefore, we use hydrolysis to further decrease its size to reach a deeper layer of skin, enhancing the penetrating ability of Sodium Hyaluronate and thus, the absorption.
Strengthening the Skin Barrier
HYA3 enhances the skin's hydration by using panthenol as a key moisturizing ingredient. Panthenol, an uniquely hygroscopic precursor of vitamin B5, attracts and retains water molecules from the surrounding. As the hydroxyl group (OH group) in the panthenol molecule is polar and can, thus, form a protective moisture barrier, preventing transepidermal water loss. Through long-term use, HYA3 improves skin’s health by strengthening the structure of the epidermis and sebum layer.

When formulating HYA3, we conducted extensive testing to find the perfect balance of the four hyaluronic acid molecules of different sizes. This was done to prevent issues like flaking makeup, ensuring that the product not only doesn't interfere with makeup application but also helps create a smoother and seamless finish.
HOW TO USE
Application: Apply 1/3 to a full dropper after toner and before lotion or cream. Use in the morning and evening.
